1. Legal notice
The word Website stands for the website www.welcomeyooster.com published by Welcome Yooster.
The word User stands for all the internet users who visit the Website.
The word Content includes the brand, the logo, texts, pictures, icons, documents and all the elements from the Website.

2. Scope of this document
The goal of the following Terms of Use is to set the modality of the availability of the Website and its use by the User.

3. Access to the Website
The access of the Website is free, everywhere, at any time, to all Users with an access to Internet.

Welcome Yooster has an obligation of means in terms of service accessibility and takes the necessary measures to make the Website accessible.

Welcome Yooster is not responsible for any technical failures due to external events.

The Website access could be interrupted or modified without any notifications in case of maintenance or any other situations. The User agrees that the interruption of the Website will not result in any types of compensation.

4. Intellectual property
Welcome yooster SARL, publisher of the Website www.welcomeyooster.com is the sole owner of any intellectual property related to the Website Content.

Any reproduction, use, adaptation, partial or full modification of  the Website’s content is forbidden without explicit prior written authorization from Welcome Yooster.

5.1. Protection of personal data
Welcome Yooster SARL commits to respect the current regulations related to the processing of personal data and particularly the regulation (EU) 2016/679 from the European Parliament and Council on 27th April 2016 applicable since 25th May 2018.

5.2. Use of data policy by Welcome Yooster
Welcome Yooster is a service provider helping the foreign students to settle in Paris. Therefore, the company will collect and keep personal data from its customers.

5.3. Collection of personal data
All Users who want to contact Welcome Yooster through the contact form or a partner will provide his/her first and last name, email address, phone number.

Following the order of services with Welcome Yooster, the company will collect additional information such as place of birth, date of birth, nationality, bank information or any other information needed to help the students to settle in Paris. Welcome Yooster has to collect these data to provide the services ordered by its customers.

5.4. Use of personal data
These data will allow Welcome Yooster to:
 contact the student and offer him/her adapted services
– inform the student about the offer, promotions and events organized by Welcome Yooster or its partners.

After the agreement on the terms and conditions of sales, the personal data of the customer will be used for all the administrative tasks. Those data could be communicated to:
– the partners of Welcome Yooster if the student has subscribed to the opening of the bank account, home insurance, health insurance or guarantor service.
– a third party for all services related to internet subscription, phone subscription, transportation pass, etc.

5.5. Data retention
Data are stored at Welcome Yooster. The access to the data is exclusively restricted to employees of the company.

If the customer subscribes to one of Welcome Yooster’s services, his/her data will be kept at least 12 months et at most 36 months, date at which all the personal data of inactive persons since 3 years have to be deleted. The data could be kept for statistical reasons but should be anonymized.

5.6. Right of access, correction and suppression
According to the Data Protection Act of January 6th, 1978 modified in 2004, the User has the right to access and to correct his/her personal data. The User can also ask for the complete suppression of his/her personal data by sending an email to contact@welcomeyooster.com. This request will be done within 1 month.

5.7. Protection of personal data
The Website is hosted by OVH and their data are stored in France. In accordance with the GDPR, Welcome Yooster commits to take reasonable measures to ensure the safety of the personal data.

6. Cookies
Welcome Yooster uses cookies on its Website to improve the user experience and to understand the users’ interactions with the Website.

7. Responsibility of the publisher and the limits
Welcome Yooster is only responsible for the Content published by the company. The published information on the Website is believed to be reliable. However, the Website could not guarantee the accuracy, completeness and up-to-date nature of the information.

Welcome Yooster is not responsible in the following situations:
– in case of technical problems or defaults, incompatibility of the Website with any material or software
– any damages after the use of the Website: direct or indirect, tangible or intangible, predictable or unpredictable
– illegal content or activities on the Website that the company is not aware of under the Act n° 2004-575 of June 21st, 2004 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

The Website could contain hyperlinks to other websites. Welcome Yooster refuses any responsibility regarding the content of those websites. 

Welcome Yooster authorizes the setting on hyperlinks going to any pages or any documents published on its website. This permission shall not apply to websites with a controversial, pornographic or xenophobic nature or which may be objectionable to the general public.

Eventually, the Website www.welcomeyooster.com reserves the right to delete at any time the hyperlink going to its pages and documents if the company thinks that the content is not compliant with its editorial guideline.

9. Relevant court and applicable legislation in cases of disputes
These Terms of Use are subject to the French Law. In case of dispute or a fail to get a mutual agreement, the dispute will be brought before the French courts in accordance with its rules.
